Sportacular Events

Firstly on behalf of Sportacular Events we want to say thank you so very much for your patience while we revamp our website.

Over 2,100 Teams both Canadian and USA have chosen to “REQUEST TO BE NOTIFIED” in regards to individual and numerous events we are hosting this season.

We are in the midst of a 3 Step Implementation program and know you are anxious to secure your spots, book accommodations etc.

Let me unveil how we will go about doing our best to offer you un-interrupted service and a more efficient manner to watch over your teams.

STEP 1: REGISTER YOUR TEAM TO OUR NEW ONLINE DATABASE
We are now requesting that you click on the link provided below:
http://www.sportacularevent.com/new/

This will take you to a page which lists the upcoming 2008-09 events. Within each event, you'll see a link to register. Clicking on this will take you to the new 'Team Profile Registration Form'. You'll need to fill in all the details for your team as indicated. Once you've filled in this form, an email will be sent to all the email addresses you've entered with details and instructions for logging into the 'Team Area' of the website.

STEP 2: LOG INTO THE SITE USING THE USERNAME & PASSWORD YOU CHOSE
Once you have registered, you'll be able to log in, using the Username & Password you've chosen. When you log in, you'll be able to add any other contacts who need to recieve information from us. You'll also be able to load your team roster, if you have that information available.

After that has been taken care of you can visit the 'Event Registry' to select the events you wish to become ACCEPTED into. This page lists all the upcoming events, and clicking the event name will show you the feature sheet for that event. Next to each event you'll see buttons to register for the event, or to be added to the mailing list for more information about the event as it becomes available.

Once you have clicked 'Register' next to the event, you'll begin receiving emails which will keep you posted on your registration status. Please be patient as we will have a large number of registrations coming in at once, so we may need a few days to accept teams into each event. You'll receive email updates every step of the way.

STEP 3: CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES & KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR EMAIL BOX
We will be updating every page every day for the next 3-4 weeks. Obviously immediate priority goes towards those events happening the soonest. Hotels will be posted and it is a requirement of each association that you select your accommodations from the list. As soon as your team has been accepted into an event, you'll see a new button in the 'Event Registry'. This new page will allow you to enter your accommodation details. We ask that you do NOT start making preliminary arrangements with any hotels until the links are ready. We can assure you that all teams will have ample accommodations of all ranges of needs and requirements to fit budgets and styles for your stays.

In the next few weeks, we will also begin sending email blasts to teams keeping them posted of updates to the website, and to the upcoming events. Also included will be updates to special events, guest speakers, etc.

Once again we are so very thankful that you have remained patient! We appreciate it very much.

As a gesture of our “Thanks” we will be inserting each and every team's name that formally registers for any of our events into our Huge Draw Bin to WIN some Awesome prizes. Details will be coming soon.
