PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PADLOCK AND KEYS
Some arenas do NOT supply their own Dressing Room Keys & Locks so please ensure your teams security and have on hand 1-2 Padlocks & extra keys just in case.

TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS OFFICE IS LOCATED SCARBOROUGH CANLAN ICESPORTS

TEAM CHECK IN PROCEDURES:

We ask that only 1 Manager/ Coach or Team Staff drop over to the Tournament Headquarters Office @ Canlan Ice Sports Scarborough Corner of Markham Road & Passmore.
You are requested to Report in either before your first game if time permits Or directly following your first game.
REGARDLESS we must see 1 Team Official arrive at headquarters who is Carrying The Team's Complete Paperwork to process your Final Registration by Checking and Approving Your Teams Documents etc.
Any Teams Arriving on THURSDAY Night or Local teams wishing to, may drop into the Headquarters to register on Thursday from 8:00pm - 9:00pm.

TEAM & MANAGER PACKAGES
Each player will be receiving a Complimentary Tournament Program as well Team "GOODY Bags" for your players with other handouts. This person will sign for all these items received.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED BY TEAMS:
If Needed ALL Official OWHA Forms are available online at: www.owha.on.ca/forms.asp

When you arrive at Headquarters you will need the following to check your team in successfully:

ALL ONTARIO TEAMS
We are now required by the OWHA to see and View the Original PINK COPY of your OWHA PPF (Players Participant Form). This is the Huge Official Roster, which all players and staff sign.
By now the other copies of this 3-part document should have been sent into the OWHA office through your Association as well as your team's fees for this season.
Please ensure you have read this years 2005-2006 OWHA Handbook Constitution, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations in regards to pick up players. Players may only compete with 1 team and in 1 tournament this weekend.

OWHA Call Up & Pickup Players & Paperwork:
See Page 38 - Rule 2 (i) (K 3)
It is your responsibility as a manager - coach to have a very clear understanding of this rule.

Example A: If your current OWHA roster is 15 players and 2 girls become sick and are unable to play.
You may call up 2 players to your get your team back to its original roster OWHA Maximum of up to 15 players.
Example B: If your current roster is 17 and 2 players are sick and cannot attend.
This brings your roster size down to 15. You are NOT allowed to replace those 2 players.
This is the maximum you are allowed (15 Players) as per the OWHA 2005-2006 Official Handbook see rule info above.


OWHA Pickup Consent Form - Sanctioned Tournaments for any player of this category.
Any OWHA player new to your roster that has been added via an OWHA Change of Participant Form, we will require a copy of this as well and please BE SURE this paperwork is filled in correctly with dates and signatures and that have chosen the correct OWHA Form For Sanctioned Tournaments. See Above for OWHA Forms link.

All USA REGISTERED TEAMS:
All USA TEAMS will be required to produce a Photocopy of your Official USA Hockey Roster complete with player and team staff signatures. All USA Teams must have their Travel Permits Available to hand in at Headquarters.

REMINDERS:
CANADIAN MANDATORY NECK GUARDS VS. USA MANDATORY MOUTHGUARDS
ALL USA TEAMS - Mandatory Mouth guards are required as per your USA Hockey Insurance
ALL CANADIAN TEAMS - Mandatory BNQ Neck guards are required as per Hockey Canada Insurance

STAFF & PLAYER SUSPENSIONS:
Any player or staff currently serving suspensions must be indicated on the game sheets in the usual manner - This information is to be placed in the area where the player's signature would normally go. IE- (Game 2 of 3)

ARENA MAPS:
They are posted on the website to allow you to pass along to your families

SATURDAY IS $5 ADULT DAY PASS DAY FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH
Please ensure your parents are fully aware of this taking place on Saturday.
We will have students who are volunteering their time to collect $5 from each adult and in return you receive 5 tickets into the Sunday Noon Draw for the 3 Team Canada Items. See Website for Photos of prizes.
Additional tickets may be purchased at the doors.

Second Prize: A Professionally Framed 2002 Men's & Women's Team Canada Double Gold Photo & Pins

GAME RESULTS & TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
It is our intention to have all scores posted on the website, however we are working out technical issues with the Arena Facility.
If this does not take place.
All Results will only be posted inside the Tournament Headquarters Only down near pad#4 on the wall NEAR HEADQUARTERS OFFICE
Convenors will also be updated as needed and supplied / shared information at each arena where possible.

GAME SHEETS - LABELS & ELIGIBILITY
If for some reason an adjustment to your players or staff have inadvertently not shown up on the game sheet labels, it is your responsibility to change and add player names and #s on ALL 3 Copies of the game sheets for accuracy. Players and staff will sign ALL Game sheets and If Absent they must be marked ABSENT in place of their signature.
To be eligible to play in a QTR-SEMI OR Championship game a player must have played in 1 (ONE) Round Robin Game.
Each team is Requested to ensure when filling in your game sheets you write in your OWHA or USA HOCKEY Team # on ALL game sheets.
NO WHITE COPIES of Game sheets should be given back to your team.
If this DOES happens please ensure you do not take this copy as it is property of the OWHA and immediately return to the Arena Comvenor.

FUTURE STAR OF THE GAME AWARDS
We will be selecting various games throughout the tournament to handout our tournament awards such as the coveted "Future Star of the Game" and our "Wholly-Molly Who's That Goalie" Pucks. Other prizes may be added as Game awards at the discretion of the tournament officials.
In all Sunday Championship Final Games a player from each team will be identified and Awarded a Medallion as the "Future Star of the Game"
