Hello Teams! Welcome to this year’s event. Our goal is to Offer a 50-50 split on USA + Canadian teams. However, this is not always possible in every age division. We also try to ensure the blend of Ontario teams that we accept either from the North , South , East, West or Central. We attempt to make it so that teams competing in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League are not placed into a division with teams from their LLFHL loop.
Divisions: U8-NOVICE, U10-ATOM, U12-PEEWEE, U14-BANTAM, U17-MIDGET, U19 Tier 1-INTERMEDIATE - U19 T2 Midget A teams
TIER 1 and TIER 2 Brackets (Teams will be placed into the appropriate brackets)
$1245 USA Dollars ~ FOUR Game Guarantee Paid in USA Dollars
ALL Games are 12-12-12 Minute Periods, with the exception of the U14 T1 - U16 T1 - U19 T1 as they will play 15-15-15 games
Compete against top level teams from the US and Canada.
Last year included teams from Toronto, Colorado, Chicago, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Michigan, North Carolina, Wisconsin and more.
Tournament games played in the state-of-the-art RMU Island Sports Center, home of the D-1 RMU Colonials; The Iceoplex at Southpointe, practice facility for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Bladerunners rinks.
Tournament HOTELS , Features and Policies:
All teams MUST stay in our tournament hotels and booked ONLY through our contact and process through our Pittsburgh Official. Any team failing to comply will be removed from the event.
FOR ACCEPTED TEAMS ONLY - We have a new and exciting online process for booking your hotels. You will select your property online and each family will be able to book their rooms online as well. However, this system will be LIVE for our event and ready to go on July 15th. Just prior to that, I will send you all the information you will need to book your hotel. We are hopeful this will make the entire process easier for you the manager and your parents as well.
All teams must be prepared to play starting Friday morning *8am unless otherwise approved by Tournament Director.
All teams Guaranteed FOUR games, FIVE - SIX games possible for some divisions
All Players must wear protective equipment according to their governing body’s rules. Ontario Teams will wear their BNQ Neck Guards – USA teams will wear their Mouthguards
All Sunday games (Finals and Consolatons) played to a WINNER (including OT and Shootout!)
Major US Shopping weekend – Biggest Sales of the Year – No sales tax on clothing in PA!
