2007 "Skate With The Stars"
5th Annual Girls March Break
Mini Houseleage Tune-up Camp
March 13-14-15, 2007
McKinney Arena, Whitby, Ontario
FINAL PARENTS & ATHLETES REMINDERS AND CAMP GUIDELINES:
- Final Registration area will be set-up directly in front lobby at McKinney of the actual arena we are using
- Please arrive on Tuesday about 45 Minutes before the start of your first session.
- If you forgot to submit your Camp Waiver and please print and bring a signed copy.
- We will have some copies of the camp schedule on hand if you need one as well posted.
- NO DADS in the Dressing rooms..Sorry but THIS IS A MUST.
- We hope a few of the MOMS in attendance will assist with inside the dressing rooms for safety purposes.
- We have a Certified Level 3 Trainer First Aider on Site as well some medical supplies and your emergency contact information handy at all times.
- Please ensure your hockey bag is packed and ready as well Skates Sharpened and Helmet Screws Tight
- On each players helmet on the front section please hand write in large TEXT your daughters FIRST NAME ONLY on a Piece of WHITE HOCKEY TAPE
- All players normally need some assistance but inside the dressing rooms they will help each other.
- ALL Skates get done up just outside the dressing rooms.
- NO PLAYERS LEAVE THE FACILITY UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
- ALL PLAYERS will be given Colour Coded ID BADGE which they need to wear at all times in the facility and bring daily
- ALL Players will use the Buddy System when inside the facility as well when using the washroom facilities.
- Our Best Protection: Bring NO valuables, lose NO valuables. If you are sending Cash with your daughter it may be left with Gary at the registration desk in a wallet or hand purse
- Each day players will use the same dressing rooms throughout the camp,
- Group A Will be in Dressing Rooms #1 & #3
- Group B will be in Dressing Rooms #2 & #4
- Goalies may use the Referees room if they find it crowded.
- Please drop your hockey bag inside your dressing rooms and then report to the registration desk for dryland.
- Players snacks water and other goodies will remain in the dressing rooms.
- Players are encouraged between the flood to snack and consume
- Tuesday Group A Camp photos will take place at about 10 minutes before the end of your on ice session
- Tuesday Group B Camp photos will take place within the first 10 Minutes of your on ice session.
- Camp photos will be handed out at the end of your Thursday Session.
- Bring a Hockey Jersey and if you have a spare of different colour please bring it as well. Whites and Blacks always work well when it comes Thursday for the games. We will also look at having Pinnies on Site as well.
- Bring your Waterbottle with your name on it
- Bring your snacks and drinks - NO GLASS PLEASE - Mini Coolers are a good idea.
- Bring a Road Hockey Stick just in case we go outside
- Bring a Tracksuit or other comfortable clothing
- Bring your Running Shoes for Off Ice Training Sessions
- We may be doing a Draw For a Team Canada Autographed Jersey But Not Confirmed:
- If so all proceeds raised will be donated to The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation:
- If tickets are sold they will be sold on Wednesday & Thursday at the registration desk
- Ticket prices will be 1 for $2:00 / 3 for $5:00 / or 20 For $20:00 Exact Change greatly appreciated.
- Intersquad Games will take place on Thursday.
- We are looking for a Timekeeper to pay for both games to play the National Anthem and music which is provided by us. If interested please reply back so I can make proper arrangements
- Dryland training will be conducted by the WGHA Jr Wolves Team Members.
- Autograph sessions will be announced based on instructors schedules. Please ensure you buy a permanent marker and keep handy at all times. We never know who will just pop in??

**Goalies Yes, there will be separate goaltending instruction being offered as well for all On Ice Sessions.
CAMP LOCATION:
The New McKinney Complex in Whitby Ontario.

PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE:
2 Hours On Ice Instruction Each Day PLUS 1 Hour of Off Ice Training Each Day.
Participants will also receive a "Group Camp Photo" of the 2007 Skate With The Stars Camp.
There will also be an Autograph & Photo Session with the Team Canada Players as well as our Feature Games on “Thursday”.
**Parents: Each On Ice session will have a mini break for fluid & nutrition replenishment (snacks) due to the flooding of ice in between each hour.
On Ice Sessions will include skills such as but not limited to: passing, power skating, shooting, smart skills and a variety of other normally not taught at most camps and unique to this type of camp.
Off Ice Training dependant upon weather conditions may take place outside so please have appropriate clothing for each day.

GROUP A * Consists of NOVICE - ATOM Players
Off Ice 9:30am – 10:30am
ON ICE 11:00am – 1:00pm
GROUP B * Atom - PEEWEE - BANTAM Players
Off Ice 11:30am – 12:30pm
ON ICE 1:00pm – 3:00pm
All players should have forward and backwards mobility.
All players will be categorized into groups based on abilities at their first on ice session.
*Younger players will be accepted based on abilities but parents will need to call first to confirm.
COST
Cost is $149 Per Player.
Family Discount of $10 Per Each Additional Family Surname Member.

What an exciting way to spend your March Break as well get yourself all tuned up for your upcoming playoff championships.
Not only exciting and inspirational each player is challenged to be the best they can be in all aspects.
This camp still leaves you lot's of time to hang out with friends, go to the movies, shop and well, do all the other fun things associated with March Break.
Our camp is designed and geared towards House League, Select and players up to the Competitive "B" Level of hockey.
We are very pleased to be able to offer once again this year a camp of this level.
Last year over 80 girls participated in this camp and sold out very quickly.
We may due to Team Canada Players time constraints we will only be able to offer 2 groups.
